Ralph Thomas Cianchetti, 87, retired English teacher at Highland Park H.S., US Army WII Purple Heart veteran, former board member of Highland Park District, former board member NE Illinois Agency of Aging, passed away peacefully June 25, 2013.

Beloved husband of the late Barbara Cianchetti (nee Harris); loving father of Carrie Cianchetti of Oakland, CA and Angela (Len) Krietz of Chicago; proud grandfather of Michelle (Don) McKinney and Eric and Daniel Krietz; dear brother of Sam (Marilyn) Cianchetti.

Preceded in death by parents Salvatore and Julia (nee Gazbarro) Cianchetti and six siblings.

Memorial gathering Saturday, August 24, 10:30-2pm (service begins 11am) at Heller Nature Center, 2821 Ridge Rd, Highland Park, IL 60035.
