LANCASTER

Michael William Lancaster, 48, of Rogers Park; formerly of New Glarus, WI and Downey, CA; passed away peacefully after a long illness.

After studying computer science at UCLA, Michael moved on to a more satisfying career as a jewelry specialist at Ultra Jewelry (now Sterling Jewelry).

Beloved partner of 17 years to Charles Raymond Hemphill; son of William Mayo Lancaster and the late Jo Ann Lancaster (nee Mall); brother of Sherry (David) Koontz, Susan (the late Tim) Stuart, and Judy (the late Don) Eckrote; uncle, in-law, and friend of many.

He also leaves behind his three beloved canine children Keating the Yorkie, and Gracie and Olive the Peekapoos.

A celebration of his life is being held Saturday, August 10, 1-5pm (service of remembrance starts 2pm) at the home of Kim O'Reilly, 317 Patricia Lane, Bartlett, IL 60103. 630-837-2384. Please bring your memories and your heart.
