JoAnne Triaca of Glen Ellyn, Illinois passed away surrounded by family, on Thursday May 2nd, 2013 at Central DuPage Hospital, after suffering a stroke. She was 71.

JoAnne was born in Owosso, Michigan in 1942 to Marjorie Jean Fillmore and the late William G. Fillmore.

JoAnne enjoyed spending time with her family (especially her grandsons) and friends. She enjoyed traveling to Maryland, Door County, WI and Orlando, FL. She bravely lived with Multiple Sclerosis for more than 20 years. Throughout that time she actively participated in numerous Multiple Sclerosis research studies to help progress the fight against the disease and improve quality of life for herself and others.

JoAnne is survived by her husband James of nearly 49 years, her children Jennifer Anne of Chicago, IL, and Jeffrey Noel and his two sons Nicholas and Nathan of Forest Hill, MD; honorary daughter Patricia Menz of Sammamish, WA; her mother Marjorie Jean of Lisle, IL, her sister Carol and her husband Henry of Des Plaines, IL and her brother-in-law Gary of Gaines, MI.

Friends and family are invited to a celebration of JoAnne's life on June 22, 2013 between 2pm and 4pm at the family home.
